Where I’m From

Originally from the Swamp in Florida, I moved to NYC without knowing anyone there, to build community and deepen my artistic skills. I started studying Political Science at the University of Florida before transferring to The New School in downtown Manhattan, where I earned a BA in a self-design Liberal Arts degree in Political Science, Contemporary Music, and Fashion. I have a background in youth advocacy, grassroots organizing, and non profit logistics. Since starting Shop Jo Sait Quoi in April of 2020, I’ve continued freelancing + creating custom orders after moving to NYC, vending + popping up in public parks and art markets.

What I’m Doing

Now that i’m #Graduated with a BA from the New School (!!) I’m working on building a new streetwear brand + printshop, and focusing on the approach of sourcing second hand garments + materials. I’m also diving into Screenprint and collage projects, connecting with themes like grief, loss, and becoming.

☆ I’m currently available for commissions + open for work ☆

I’m also organizing with the New Student Workers Union (NewSWU) ; @NewStudentWorkersUnion everywhere

Building styling clientele! Developing print collections for my new brand, Love ‘n Justice! Hosting screenprinting workshops! I’d also like to curate spaces for young people in the city to share their art and elevate their practices together; helping each other hold our own and make money creating beautiful things. Gallery and installation exhibitions, launch parties, teach-ins, + more. I’m focused on streetwear as a medium for sharing ideas on alternative ways of life. I aspire to have my own storefront one day that operates as a multi-purpose teaching space.

I’m also fighting to get NewSWU recognized and formally elected as a wall-to-wall body to represent student workers at The New School, so that employees can have a say in their workplace conditions.

What I’m Interested In Rn…
